Coordinated numerous Non-Governmental organizations (NGO) to develop a strategic plan for resource distribution and supportive programs during deployment to Egypt, Kosovo, and Iraq.

Operationally directed the Army’s vision regarding Resiliency & Reintegration of the Soldier and family, led the Army’s most successful self, marriage, and family enrichment program, “Strong Bonds”-a $100 million training resource that has reduced divorce, increased marital cohesiveness, and improved relationship and communication skills in over 400,000 military Soldiers and families.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
 
After retirement in 2013 and moving back home to Plant City, FL., Dr. Middlebrooks served as the Senior Pastor of First Call-First Responder Church; the very first of its kind within the nation (2018-2022), Hopewell Baptist Church (2013-2017) and as the Staff Command Chaplain for the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (2016-2017). He serves as the President and Founder of
Chaplaincy Care, Inc, The Relationship Leader, LLC,.
 
He has also served as the volunteer chaplain for multiple agencies within Hillsborough County. Some include HCSO, HCFR, and the FBI Tampa Division. He currently serves as the Chaplain for the Plant City Fire Rescue. He is an accomplished columnist, author, lecturer, and is an internationally certified John Maxwell mentor/coach and trainer.
